We’ve received the fantastic news that the Life Rooms, Liverpool services have achieved a Good Plus in all domains in their first Quality Review Visit (QRV).
The QRV checks our adherence to quality standards based on: the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) criteria, review of self-performance, and the service’s own self-assessment. A specialist team within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust conduct the internal visits. Following this, a rating and an action plan are received to ensure that we are continually working towards full quality compliance.
Mersey Care's QRV team recognised the 'enthusiasm, commitment and pride' that our staff have for their work and the service they provide, and stated our Good Plus rating was 'well-deserved'.
This continues The Life Rooms’ run of QRV success, with our Healthy Knowsley service achieving Good Plus, and our Sefton services (who took part in our first QRV trial run) receiving Good last year.
Healthy Knowsley were praised for achieving a second consecutive Good Plus rating, and for their consistent positive feedback from service users which is testament to their effectiveness in supporting Knowsley residents to improve their health and wellbeing.
The review of our Sefton services highlighted excellent governance around partnership working, and the positivity and motivation of the team.
As a service, The Life Rooms is not subject to a CQC inspection, so our strong QRV results demonstrate our commitment to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care.
We're extremely proud of these achievements and the commitment of our staff to support our communities.
We'd like to say a big 'thank you' to the individuals and service users who took part in QRV interviews, and to the teams who co-ordinated and prepared QRV evidence.
