We recently shared some thoughts with our service users in The Life Rooms Bootle about the possibility of us withdrawing from our Bootle site, which is part of the Hugh Baird college campus.

Withdrawing from this site would provide more flexibility in delivering The Life Rooms services to support people in Bootle, and in Sefton by:

  • covering a wider area of Bootle and Sefton, by working in a variety of other community locations on a timetable to deliver our Learning and Pathways Advice services,
  • better supporting Mersey Care service users (who are referred to The Life Rooms) who may not be able to travel to our Bootle site, by offering our services across more community locations on a timetable which may be closer to home.

We are looking at options to continue delivering our Learning and Pathways Advice services from the current Bootle building as part of a wider timetable of locations.

We would appreciate your thoughts about this potential change. Your feedback will feature in a paper that we submit to Mersey Care’s Board on future development plans for The Life Rooms.

Please share your comments and answer some questions in our survey about how you access The Life Rooms Bootle.
